Museum of Tourism of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK)

The Museum of Tourism in the Silesian Beskids is located in Polana Przysłop pod Barania Góra, at the Mountain Tourism Culture Center of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society" "U Źródeł Wisły" "in a small wooden building from 1951.

It was opened in 1994 thanks to the efforts of people from the Baraniogórska Section of KTG PTTK, including Edward Moskała, who was the initiator of the creation of museum centers in the Polish part of the Carpathians devoted to mountain tourism. The collections are located in three rooms and document the history of tourism development in the Silesian Beskids and The activities of organizations such as Beskidenverein and the Polish Tatra Society, persons of Edward Moskała and the development of skiing, are complemented by ethnographic exhibits - traditional highlander clothes and equipment.
