For centuries, hunting was a privileged occupation of kings, princes, aristocracy and nobility. The forests of the Silesian and Żywiec Beskids were liked by representatives of various lines of the Habsburg dynasty. The Przysop clearing, lying on the southern arm of Barania Góra, was considered the most convenient place for hunters to stay. After World War I, the palace (from 1925) served as a mountain shelter, and it fortunately survived the war to welcome tourists until the 1970s. Tourist and Touring Society, Vistula Branch in Wisła, Tourist Service Office operating at PTTK, exhibition "Głuszec in the forests of the Silesian Beskids" and the escape room "Zagadek Castle." The facility is located on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship and on the Habsburg Trail.
