Czerniańskie Lake, also known as the Czerniański Reservoir, is an artificial dam reservoir, built in Wisła Czarne in 1968-1973 for retention purposes and as a drinking water reservoir. It connects the waters of the Biała and Czarna Wisełka streams, which give rise to the queen of Polish rivers - the Vistula.

The dam of the reservoir, in addition to its utility functions, is also a tourist attraction as a promenade. The lake is surrounded by picturesque peaks of the Silesian Beskids, including Barania Góra. In the vicinity of the Czerniański Reservoir there are also: the Castle of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Biała Wisełka Valley with the famous Rodła Cascades and the waterfall on the Vistula River.
