From history: Julian Ochorowicz was a scientist, one of the greatest intellectuals of the turn of the century. He dealt with the interior of man, but most of all he was the inventor and precursor of the microphone, loudspeaker, telephone or TV set. In 1899 he came to Wisła and began building summer houses. Renting them out. or sales were to give him funds for further research, mainly in the field of psychology. also "Wanda", a villa which Julian Ochorowicz gave to his cousin, the famous Warsaw actress Wanda Barszczewska. From among all the buildings built by Julian in Wisła, only "Ochorowiczówka", from which he moved out in 1912, remains to this day.
